Victim Found In Arsenal Stadium Mystery Twist

As expected this is the week where the odd bit of news is creeping into the frenzied media reports.
The Times headlines with ‘Arsenal hierarchy talk to Kroenke’. It would appear that the board are now willing to work in the future with American billionaire Stan Kroenke. My hope is that the important words in that phrase are ‘in the future’ and ‘with’. If there is a way of getting this man to invest some of his own money in the club and work with the existing board then that would obviously be far more acceptable than a leveraged buy-out of Arsenal. However, I don’t see what Kroenke would get out of such an arrangement. This man is not Santa Claus.
Jeremie Aliadiere has finally left the Gunners. Middlesbrough have agreed a fee of somewhere between £1.5m and £3m depending on which source you choose to believe. It is fair to say that Jeremie never quite reached the level that was predicted for him at Arsenal. He should prove to be a very good buy for ‘Boro though. If he can remain fit it will be interesting to see his goal return given a run in their starting eleven. Good luck Jeremie, and thanks.
Finally, it is good to read of the discovery of evidence of the ‘North Bank horse and cart’ at Highbury. When I say good of course I don’t mean for the poor horse! I can’t help but wonder what went through the poor nags mind as it was dragged into the cavernous pit by the heavy load on it’s back. Still, it wasn’t the last Beast to die a painful death in North London.
I wonder what is happening in Madrid today?
