The Holic Preview In Brief, With Apologies
Jan 9th, 2009 by 'holic
At this stage of a Friday evening I do not have the time to properly research the preview for the clash with Bolton tomorrow, or indeed what has happened in the last day or so. Chances are you are only here to see the ‘holic pound so you know what to avoid in the morning!
Here, in brief, is ‘holic express…
We haven’t bought anybody. We haven’t sold anybody. So forget the transfer nonsense for a day or two.
Gallas has joined Silvestre on the injured list. That means Kolo can partner Djourou tomorrow. Excellent!
Gary Megson has tried his hand at mind games. I am reminded of that famous quote, “in the battle of wits, I will not take on an unarmed opponent”.
The ‘holic pound is on 4-1 to the Arsenal. Remember, you read it here first!
Will we ever get a caller on the fans forum who Tom Watt doesn’t have to tell to turn their television off?
Have a great weekend, ‘holics. Don’t forget to wrap up warm tomorrow, it will be a tad fresh. Trust me, I’m a ‘holic.

No drink for me, ta very much. On the wagon ’till February.
If the score is 4-1 at the end I’ll be delighted. I’ll also have a wager that the stadium is half empty at the final whistle.
Thermals!
4-1? I want a clean sheet please with a RVP belter past Jussi.
Mine’s a modest Jameson tonight, please, ‘holic.
Take care.
Wenger upbeat about new signings, although we have heard that before.
We need to take the game to Bolton tomorrow. Early goals will have them on the back foot. Nolan is out. Make suer we kick Davis up in the air and we are off and running.
Up the Gunners…..
I’ll have what Ollie’s having please, landlord.
*parks arse in comfy seat by the fire*
wenger the great moron is saying that we need nobody.i seriously thinks if we don’t knock this jerk out of our club he is going to destroy everything.psycho wenger knows that he is very safe at arsenal and he is using our club for his self glory which is to prove to everybody that he is so great that he can even win with youngsters by not spending sack this fool please.
anyway i don’t expect arsenal to win 4 or something i think 1-0 victory looks like a realistic choice
I don’t suppose you serve coffee, ‘holic? None left here so the situation is critical.
Patrick. The internet is full of people like you. Always ready to be scathing in attack, but offering no solutions. It is really easy to sit and moan, but who would take his place? Who out there can do a better job than Wenger? Who shoule we have bought that is available and in our price range? We are not a Chelski and long may that last.
And, if you are going today when you get inside have a look around. Perhaps sometimes people get swept up with all the media hype without actually realising what we have achieved.
Patrick, please keep still while the nurse is trying to apply your medication.
