The Son Of God Is Not The Answer To The Question Many Are Asking
Dec 29th, 2011 by 'holic
1st October, 2000. The top two teams in the country meet at Highbury. The double winners of 1998 are once again challenging the treble winners of 1999 for domestic supremacy.
Half an hour in, Gilles Grimandi pushes the ball forward to Thierry Henry. Some twenty-two yards out, in the inside-left channel, Henry has his back to goal, and Irwin’s right paw is nudging him in the small of his back. Neville is covering just a couple of yards away and Scholes is closer still on the square. Kanu has company in his shorts, Johnsen is that close. Nothing is on.
Then something magical happens. I am about to witness the second best goal I have ever seen. With his right foot Henry gently lifts the ball off the turf whilst maintaining it’s momentum. He swivels and lobs the ball over Barthez and just inside the far post. Highbury explodes, a mixture of euphoria and disbelief.
At this point in his career Thierry was not considered a great goalscorer, just a scorer of great goals. It was his fifth goal of the season in our eleventh match. After that the records tumbled with regularity. Two golden boots, and a staggering 226 goals after his 380th and final Arsenal appearance told only a part of the story why he will always be held in the highest regard by Gooners.
In the event that Arsenal do come to a deal with New York Red Bulls to take him on loan for a couple of months, and I think that may be far from the done deal that some would like to believe, there will be a little quickening of the heartbeat the first time I see him in a red and white shirt again. But what exactly does he bring to the table at this stage in his life?
As with Sol Campbell and Jens Lehmann before him he would add that little bit of ‘awesome’ to the dressing room. He has done it all, won it all, and most of it with Arsenal. He would add to the leaders, those available to share their experience and know-how with those yet to grab the medals they desire.
He would not, however, be the answer to who can we get to lead the line if something happens to the skipper. The thirty-four year old Henry plays deeper these days, the first yard in his brain rather than his legs. As you will hear in another medium shortly I fear the reaction he might get from one or two of our less understanding young supporters if he doesn’t come back and score twice every three appearances. He won’t do that.
I do think there is a role for him as a second-half substitute in the hole, relieving some of the burden on Aaron Ramsey’s young shoulders, but if you are hoping for an inexpensive short-term solution to any loss of van Persie, then I would think again. We need another goalscorer from a major European League, not an ageing superstar of whom too much would be expected, nor an unproven and callow youth. We need a player who scores goals in a competitive league who is prepared to take on van Persie for a starting berth, and who will assume the role of leader of the line in the skipper’s absence with vigour and confidence.
Thierry Henry is not the answer to the problem that we may face when Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho head off to the Cup of African Nations. He may well be a part of the solution to an entirely different problem though. On that basis I can’t wait to see him, the son of God.

Get in !
Almost first… well played, tabs!
Good evening, young TaBS.
Now read it π
Alright Lars?
As for the post, I agree with the sentiment. I did change my mind about wanting him back, but it is important to point out that I want him only as a very temporary addition to hopefully bridge the gap between now and when we can get a long-term option in sometime during the next month.
Just outside c league spot doh!
Eloquent as ever ‘Holic.
The Henry situation in a nutshell π
Yes, quite alright. Still not entirely rid of whatever bug that has been bugging (pun very much intended!) me in these past few days but at least I got a proper night’s sleep last night. The management said she has never ever heard anyone snore so loudly!
Nice post Holic . Usual good sense with pros and cons both set out .
Whilst I am not as anti the idea as when it was first mooted, (if AW has seen something in training then that is good enough for me) , I remain hugely conflicted about it .
I still have my doubts it will happen . Presumably the Insurance premiums would be colossal . If however it does go ahead , I would worry about the impact on the dressing room . The dynamic is always delicate , we seem to have got it right over the last 3 months , and I wouldn’t want that upset . Inspirational figure or God demanding deference ? Probably the former but don’t think it’s a given .
Cant see him playing in the No.10 role either – certainly not unless we change the system – he just ain’t got the legs .
Feel like I’m being a wet blanket so I’ll have an ice cold lager for the sore throat and drinks for the Barman and all the usual suspects .
Heh Holic , read it now . Don’t often post without reading (just not cricket) , but the opportunity was too good to pass up π
Cheers Lars .
Oh, it’s thursday.
I take it ‘holic is on the arsecast tomorrow then.
Cheers.
Agree with you holic we need a proper centre forward(with pace)who’s in for the long haul.also like to add that loved Henry when he was with us but his departure left a sore taste,I know I’ll probably get hammered for this but I’m sick of players professing there love for our club and manager after they have been made millionaires and superstars, just stinks to me.
tabs@9: I don’t think the dressing room issue would be a problem. He’s already in there, so to speak, since he has been training with us for over a month.
Though the point about the massive insurance costs is a very good one. Hadn’t thought about that, but you are right – they would most likely be astronomical. It’s probably not at all unlikely that we would be talking about several millions of pounds here and if so it would not be worth it. Such money would be better spent on a long-term solution of course.
Great post and I agree!
Mostly agree with you there, tabs@9, with a tinge of the first sentence from Lars@13
Ridiculous getting Henry back. He was shit when he left and now he’s 5 years older, slower, and less hungry. Brilliant. This is a joke now. BUY A FUCKING STRIKER ARSENE AND STOP THIS SHIT!!!!!!!
Excellent pros and cons, and reasonable expectations Holic. Anyone expecting the Theirry of 2004 has seriously been at the CMC.
What Lars said @5. And TaBs (minus the wet blanket bit!)
Beers?
Is he taking the piss? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16357568.stm
@ 16….yeah, he was absolute shit! Only scored 50 goals in 3 seasons or whatever for Barca.
Lars , think you’re right re the dressing room , although i think there is a subtle difference between coming in for training and joining in the crack , and being at the sharp end in the dressing room before and after a game .
As regards the Insurance premiums I think it was that outlay that stopped Beckham joining the Spuds in a similar deal last year . Presumably the cost for Thierry would be something in the same ball-park .
Garsguns @12 – not gonna hammer you for that view , though I don’t agree with you π . Felt that when he left it was the best thing for both himself and the Club . He went on to win the Champs league , we were oh so close in 07-08 . If anything I would argue , with the benefit of hindsight of course , that we left it 12 months too late to sell him . In 06 Barca were offering 40m plus . One injury-hit season later , we only got 15m . Had we won the Champs League in 06 , I feel he would have gone . The dramatic loss meant emotion came into the equation for both player and Club and we went one more year , wrongly as it turned out .
….and because we are all talking about it you use it as an excuse to blast Wenger.
Can you read his mind? Do you know what Wenger is planning? In fact, have you read the post??
tabs, I was actually thinking of Beckham and some deal being stopped because of insane insurance demands but I had forgotten it was Sp*rs who tried to get him.
Mr C , Is Stephen Hunt rhyming slang ? and if its not it should be !
Very wise words, ‘Holic.
Should be compulsory reading for all Gooners.
A large Glenmorangie, meinherr.
TaBS
I should cocoa.
Could you have a word with Wolfie? Mr C was saying something about how he ought to get padded up with the Gray Nicholls for a certain passenger….
tabs, it definitely is rhyming slang. “That Stephen Hunt can just go Donald Duck himself!” – see, it works perfectly!
Agree tabs just p’s me off these players giving it the same old bull about arsene and the club if u or me had the chance to play for us would our heads be turned by a stroll to the European cup instead of doing it with our beloved gunners?no chance because were gunners!
Mr C , I think its more a job for Carlos than Wolfie . More machine gun than paddle , but trying not to feed him at the mo .
16 Thierry No.
You are exactly the sort of person I had in mind when I recorded tomorrow’s arsecast (well spotted Ollie).
Give it a listen, old son.
My main ‘excitement’ at seeing TH in an Arsenal shirt again is for the short term solution as pointed out by the barman, also because I never felt we had chance to say adios to him properly. We didn’t know his marriage was in shit street.
I remain convinced that he stayed for one more year for personal reasons, ie he felt obliged to remain so that he could lead the team out at le grove for the first season there.
The dressing room prescence of an invincible needs no explaining. For the same reason I advocated for Paddy’s return (was it 18 months ago? Really? jeez…) after he started ‘training’ with us again.
I can’t see any negatives in a short term loan. Money is irrelevent. We moved to le grove so that money for players wasn’t an issue supposedly.
And if we are to have 2 LB’s coming back any time soon, I don’t see whats wrong with signing Bridge as a stop gap either.
Garsguns – rumour has it that there were personal reasons for him making a break from England.
I get what you are saying, but don’t think anyone can doubt his love for Arsenal…..
Point taken Garsguns , but I do think that as fans we often mistake our love for the Club with players who ultimately are earning their living , and will consider other things other than merely a love for the club as to where they ply their trade .
As regards TH , he gave us his best years , and for that , I will always be grateful .
Lars @26 heh π
I see Milijas has lost his red card appeal (link from within CG’s link @ 18)
Why does nothing the FA does surprise me?
SSN’s reporting he’ll sign in next 48 hours.
Interesting point from Arseblog via Twitter; 2 month loan, Feb 26th is Arsenal vs Sp*rs. Last ever game for The Arsenal? Poetry….
Odds on him scoring the winnnign goal in that game?
Got to be worth a pound now?!
Garsguns, I would not be surprised to one day learn that Thierry was helped out the door by Arsene. I think they both had realized that he had become too much of a focal point for the club, and with the injuries starting to become a real problem we were better off without him at that point. That we sold him for as little as about Β£15m indicates to me that we weren’t that keen on keeping him at the club. And we were, after all, quite unlucky not to win the league the following season. Let’s not forget that apart from the Eduardo leg break we also lost Rosicky (who was quite brilliant then) for a very long time in January 2008.
MtS@33: the card stood because it was not “an obvious and clear mistake” or somesuch malarky. That’s just ridiculous, it should never have been a red card full stop.
Been to a Wedding today,
Mr Subway got married.
A Hammer all his life and he has fallen bigtime for A Man U follower.!!
No amount of counselling from me could dissuade him from the Altar.
As Mr S played football all his life, about 90% of the people at the wedding were his football loving mates.
On my table of 10 at the reception were the following,
2 Man Supporters,1 Man City,1 Spud,2 of us,1 Geordie,1 Chelsea,1 Hammer and God love him a Grimsby supporter who had followed his Club for 5O yrs.!!
A fantastic time was had by all, each and every one of us had tales to tell, the piss to take, the top 5 players of all time from each Club follower, yes, even our Grimsby man found 5, !!
the only time the conversation at out table even paused for breath was for the Speeches, and then it was on for young and old again, the Dancing was ignored as the 10 of us went toe to toe and blow for blow.By the time we had finished out table of 10 had somehow become about 40,as the rest of the football boys from other tables, couldn’t resist the roars of encouragement and the tears of laughter coming from our table,as the tales got taller, and the Legends got more outrageous by the minute.
But the single most fundamental truth that came out of that fantastic afternoon, was the passion we all had for our Clubs,we all at heart wanted the same thing,a Team that we could all be proud of,playing good football the right way, none of this diving and waving of imaginary cards, cynical fouling etc etc.
The passion around out table was magical and something i won’t forget for a long long time.
My test for a true follower of his Club is,what are your next 5 games.?
The imposters are soon exposed and fucked six ways to Christmas.
I am proud to say, every one on our table passed the test with flying colors, and Mr Grimsby topped the lot ,reeling of every game to be played till the end of March!!
God luv em all.!!
Cheers
A very uplifted Sweeper.
Mr C @34 – My God , I wouldn’t put it past him to score the winner ! I think I’m right in saying he never lost to The Spuds – worth signing him for that fact alone π
Mr Sweeper, thanks for sharing – sounds like an utterly brilliant night out!
Lovely post yet again βholic. Couldnβt agree more. But I confess to being perhaps a shade more excited about his potential return than many (excluding patient GGG of course).
I may be alone here (or showing my age) but I really donβt consider him βoldβ. How grateful were we all when we heard Drogba wouldnβt be playing when we last went to the bus stop? And heβs only 6 months younger than Titi. Past his prime, certainly, but we still consider him something of a threat, and rightly so.
If the club is able to bring him back Iβll be a very happy Gooner. He wonβt be the Titi of old, but in the words of the great philosopher P J OβRourke, “Age and guile beat youth innocence and a bad haircut”.
And CG @ 34 β poetry indeed π
Great post Mr Sweeper . Glad to see your spirits have been revived π
Excellent Sweeper – see what a few pills can do for you! π
Fantastic post , with which I agree whole heartedly.
Heh Snowy , what if you’re old and still got a bad haircut ? π Seems to have held me back π
The door is always wide open for Henry as far as I’m concerned. He could play on left wing instead of “tired” Russian and I would LOVE to see him playing on january 22.
“A red and white genius they call Titi
tiptoes to Highbury from night to night,
just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper:
Go get drunk everything is alright”
Getting late over here in Sweden, off to bed now. See you tomorrow!
Lovely post Sweeper π
And tabs – you could either get a better barber, or just accept the fact you’re never going to grow up. I find the latter works for me π
Snowy
A little reminder that for a few years we had the most iconic player on the planet
http://twitpic.com/80d8as/full
I truly wish a few of the regular Holics on here could have been there,
Wolfie,The Feelgood boy,Prof Edwin and all other asstd aliases,
the rest of the Table would not have known what hit them.!!
i raise my glass of freshly squeezed OJ to you all.
PS I was the only teetotaller on the table,so i was designated as the umpire in all contentious issues.
Suffice to say,the Fuckers took not a blind bit of notice.!!
Sage advice Snowy π
Nips in for the cheeky Half π
Lurking on a whole new level Wind π
I wouldn’t worry too much about the insurance premium – think of the shirt sales.. especially as he won’t be TH14.
Collector’s items…… 7 games only.
CG @ 47 – ooooh. And originally tweeted but a Yewnited supporter?? Blimey. The icon persists I think.
tabs @ 49 – heh π
CG – Alex Song just retweeted that picture – genius π
Lovely to see #TheKingIsBack trending on Twitter…at #1
Total Lurking tabs π
At best, Henry is A son of God, not THE son of God. get your facts straight if you must use a terminology. Am assuming no offense want meant? and none is taken.
Am Just making an observation. much the same way you would correct anyone that declares man City the EPL winner after less than half of the season is played.
I agree with the sentiments though… would be great to see Henry back, but not at the expense of any of the current squad and especially not Rosicky
@57 “facts”? Or “beliefs”?
π
Nice one Catalan π
Apologies.
For Son of God please read Son of Dennis.
What the fuck is EPL?
In my church the two are interchangeable, one and the same supreme being.
Holic
In the words of Dave Allen….
Just watching the reprise of that game against Wolves, my first game this season (including preseasons, cup games etc) I didn’t manage to watch real time. It’s 34th minute now, not even a tiny hint of us losing points. But, what I noticed till now is that Wolves had two corners which our defence cleared away, and the cleared balls two times were collected by the same man- Hunt. Just like the goal that I’am looking at right now. For the third time cleared ball from corner goes to Hunt.
Dave Allen.
One of the best.
I don’t know what to make of this.
Heart is happy, but head says “look forward”.
Also, tabs & snowman, what’s all this growing up chat? That way lies madness. π
Clive, super post @ 37.
Good evening neighbour.
EPL, BPL, it’s all bollocks, dreamed up by people who want golfers to play for the British Open.
It’s The Open you cunts, pure and simple.
And we play in the Premier League.
Growing up?
Heh!
The fuck we will π
Some other notes from the reprise, noticed with cool head and no emotions…
1. Rosicky is impressive, fast-thinking, the creative force we might use for the second part of the season, if they don’t sell him
2. Robin was kind of selfish (don’t mind that, he is a striker, but he might had better solutions in certain situations)
3. Coquelin is better option as rb than Djorou, especially against weaker teams on paper.
4. Vermaelen is wasted on lb (most obvious)
5. Song didn’t take the game seriosly till now (52 min.)
The squad rules mean that we have space to buy 3 homegrown players over the age of 21 or we have to sell ‘foreign’ over-21 players in order to buy new ‘foreign’ over-21 players.
Other option is to buy u21 players who won’t count to squad size.
Tricky decisions for the manager to make.
My view on Henry is yes, if he doesn’t arrive alone.
Good evening chaps…have I missed anything?
Dr Z , I think the conclusion reached was not to grow up π
@ 69 – that’s more like it.
Just realised the Snowman is in the same camp – it’s the faint-hearted tabs that needs counselling π
GT, I’d see Clive’s post @ 37 π
Dr Z , eh ? I think most will attest to my lack of growing up skills π
Lars –
I get back from a day out and I notice you have made fine of me about my misunderstanding of Zico’s question re last 12 months.
You are quite right, my Beer cup enjoyment twas 14 months ago although was part of last season (I know I was talking about last season and Zico was talking about the last 12 months, so events 2 months earlier do not count..I get that!)
Can’t you just give a guy a break? Jeeez! π *Going to curl up and cry now*
Up the Arsenalage!!
Herbie, great point, although we have some deadwood who could make way for new faces in that list. I’d happily pay Squillaci the rest of his contract and put him on a plane anywhere he wanted, and he isn’t the only one.
Reckon Fabianski might want out as well , and if he doesn’t , Almunia should not be re-registered even if we have to continue to pay him .
Holic, I agree with you.
I’ve said it all along that Titi is this window’s Yossi. A great signing if he comes with someone, but not enough if he’s the lone signing.
I trust AW to get another player just like I trusted him not to get just Yossi.
As for the rules, simple – Just don’t register Squillaci and Almunia even if they don’t find a club. In the case that AA would be sold in January (I think that we’d get more for him in January than in the summer and it’d be better if we just sell him now… In the summer he’d be cheaper as he won’t [probably] rediscover his form and his value will keep dropping), then you got another slot.
Almunia has a worrying ‘deer in headlights’ look everytime the ball comes towards him, maybe something happened on the mean streets of Spain with a ball, forced to make his first save too early, ball on bonce, constant fear ever since?
Took a good glance at majority of posts and is a pleasure to read a variety of well balanced/advocated arguments for and against!
As always everyone knows my feelings about ‘Va va Voom’
To be honest I want TH back ‘in the short term’ (compulsory to include zis caveat) as it will lift spirits across the club, as I am sure it has done during his current stay!
Anyway, I find myself agreeing with Mts once again! But don’t worry Mark I used to do the same with Atg and eventually got the message when he later started to avoid me. Now he has almost disappeared and has probably returned under an alter-ego like so many others here needing a round the clock medical attention (ahem)
So…up the Arsenalage, I see Henry’s return as safe as it iz only two monss!
But who iz zis striker we need who we will never get? Wenger will be basking in his study of 99 screens from around the world taking conference calls murmuring ‘scout, scout I want heem, ze if zey will take 10 mil, pleez’
The likelihood is if AW sees a real need for it as a long term solution we will end up with the next unearthed experienced gem (see: Eduardo 2007), whilst trying to fight off all major bids for Reliant Robin!
π

When will the club store have it ready π ?
Got this in the mail today…
Will convert it and upload it for everybody π

The No.12 shirt huh? π
Question is…seeing as Titi appears to be getting closer to ‘coming back to zis clube’ out of his system, will he actually try to come back in another capacity on a long term basis, ie: striking coach, as he has indicated on numerous occasions?
Snir, you are one top fella. Let me know by email first before it gets blocked π
Blocked, why would it be blocked π ?
Excellent piece. He truly is an artist.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2078378/Robin-van-Persie-making-EXCLUSIVE.html
Oh good, a chance to get rid of one of the Manchester clubs in the next round of the FA! Would much rather get rid of the sky blues myself!
Herbie @71 – my point about Bridge summed up! π
Now, where’s arthur before GT puts his arms around me again… π
Beautifully balanced post ‘holic
am with you that signing TH is not quite as straightforward as it might seem.
A genuine Arse great he was an amazing athlete and a very, very fine footballer. But hands up (and i apologise if i piss off gooners whose views i respect) my last memories of him live were of a slightly sulky captain who gave the emerging Reyes a terrible time.
But as tabs says if AW has seen something in training he likes and he can see that TH has matured then fair enough – bring it on.
He’s probably worth it on ability alone compared to our cover.I just hope he’s able to clock what’s what re the new order. He’s a bright boy so why wouldn’t he? And if he can’t suck it up i’m fairly sure AW would spot it.
Intriguing indeedy
Up The Arse!
An artful piece Snir, I truely enjoyed reading it π
great post Holic 100% agree.
Sweeper. Totally different class. Loved every word.
Great report holic. My.post at 296 in the last session says it all for me. As much as I can’t wait to see TH back in an Arsenal shirt it can not be allowed to mask the deficiencies that we have up front. A hero may well return, and I welcome that. But it can only be as a stepping stone to the next generation.
If it happens, I for 1 can’t wait.
Some rapid back-drinking completed – thanks to all for the kind wishes re my daughter.
Finished up in Exeter hospital where a chest x-ray revealed an elusive bacterial infection. A fraught night spent observing a much too rapid heart rate and rising temperature – not to mention the drive through the rush hour into oncoming headlights (why does everyone drive on full-beam down here) – through the villages on the outskirts of Dartmoor.
Two very unusual antibiotics will now hopefully do the rest.
No fun this lark, is it ‘Holic. All the best for your upcoming days.
Excellent post, almost by the way – can’t disagree with any of that, although I will take a large dose (topical) of TABS with it.
The reservation is due to remembering some of the less than great body language and performances from Thierry in that last season.
However, let’s remember the majority of his time instead. I think his attitude will be fine.
In his final season he was clearly unsettled, but now would be playing because he is a Gooner and, one suspects, he would love to get that red and white shirt on again.
Any chance we could borrow Dennis from Ajax for a couple of months too ?
Great post up there from you Clive π
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkmUtMpbH7I
It’s amazing to see how much he’s matured.
Part 1 of 3, the other parts will be available after this one ends π
Good to hear about young Miss T’s hopefully improving Trev, all the best π
all the very best to little miss Trev – Trev
Jinky little fun…..
Henry-esque Shot!
Jinky little run…..
Absolutely hope all is well with Miss T. I take it Exeter is nearer than Barnstaple, Trev. Thinking of you…
And its in the back of the net!
He calls over Steve T and AL to the euphoric fans in the North Bank/East Stand to celebrate, a proper Arsenal goal π
i’ll have a shot too please barman – wind’s round?
Hey Steve T, was that an attempted double pass century attempt under the guise of an spelling error correction I just saw? π
My round indeed Lester, help yourself mate π
Glad everything’s ok with the young one, Trev.
Clive, super post, nothing I love more than sitting around a table and having football convos with my mates.
cheers our lad – well in and happy nearly new year!
And scoring with a Henry the second coming shot – an omen?
Trev. Heartfelt thoughts with you and yours. So glad it is good news. You deserve some chill time.
Holic, thoughts with Mrs H and you.
Raises glass to above and to absent loved ones.
Wind. It was my trickery in an attempt to bamboozle the average opponent and set up the ultimate scoring opportunity.
Fair play Steve, you were my assist maestro of the occasion, get yourself a drink from the bar on me Good Sir π
Or??????
It might just have been my sausage fingers…..
Best to you and your daughter Trev, I remember at The Everton game you told me she wasn’t well & had to rush back, glad you look to have finally sorted it.
Thanks again all – this blog and the people I have met through it, have come to mean a lot to me – some top Gooners and top blokes.
I think Clive was right – a lot of other club’s fans would be amazed to find such abrilliant collection of people under one vitual roof π
Steve T, we’ll go with 111 eh? π
All hafth suffereth from sausage finger at one point or the other…
Snir – thanks for the RvP link – great read.
Modesty prevented me from making the final decision but I am happy to go with your selection.
Maybe Titi can do this, this time around π

Been back-drinking after another post christmas night out – often the best bit for me.
A drink from Ollie – even if it was on Lars’ s tab – is a fine way to end an ever improving year. And thanks for the proper pointer Dr. Z i now know TS is the go to man re the CMC inventory AND tabs am sorry i keep missing you in the virtual – looking forward to a real one with yourself and several of these other fine fellows in the new one!
Mind u Dr. F on the loose is a little worrying – no?
UREDS!
Another great link @119 Snir –
maybe we should rename you Patient Gang Google π
It is easy to forget how easy that team made the whole game look.
They just played and scored goals like the other team’s defence was not there. Amazing.
That’s 2 in 2 for excellent links Snir, 2 hour 40 mins between them as well, what a talent π
Wind – I’d argue it’s 3 for 3 with @96 a great link as well. π
Trev – It is this talent that has made me the bar’s hack in terms of transfers π
Holic what is the first best goal you have ever seen???
I agree that we will still need to sign a striker. Pato rumors would be perfect as he can play on the wing or lead the line…
MoMoney2 – I think the Brady at the Lane goal is Holic’s favorite.
As for Fullback – AW has said that with Sagna and Gibbs returning at the end of January means he may not sign a fullback.
Not surprising IMO. Never thought he would get a fullback. To me it was always TH and Poldi.
I’m 100% sure we’re getting Poldi.
MoMoney2 – If Pato is going anywhere it’s to join Ancellotti at PSG.
@ Clive: Glad to see that the fever has lifted and you were able to have a wonderful time at the reception. Loved the disdain in your voice when you spoke of the united “follower”…my own particular test is to ask them if they had ever been to Old Trafford…then I tell them that I have been around 15 times and that I hate their team – that usually shuts them up quickly..
Glad to see that you are back in the groove. Keep a few of the happy pills in your pocket just in case you get that bitter taste in the mouth again (0;
Hi Snir, Seems like we are closing the bar again tonight eh? What a stir you caused with a few innocent remarks last night (0;
It was totally unintentional!
Clive knows how much I respect him and his views and I didn’t mean to offend or upset anybody!
I simply disagreed with him, that’s all.
I still feel that our squad is more than a top 6 side only, because when I look at squad I look at all the players in our books, so Jack, Sagna, Diaby, Gibbs all count.
Just like Essien, Vidic e al count in our rivals’ squads.
Based on that, I do believe that we are more than a top 6 only team.
And with Poldi – Someone put it perfectly on twitter today, that his stint with Bayern was like DB’s stint with Inter or TH’s with Juve. Not that impressive but no reason to dismiss the player’s abilities – I’m certain we can challenge for silverware.
@ Snir: I am with you all the way..been holding my breath regarding Podolski because I feel he would be perfect for us. Agree with the sentiments in the main article about TH12 (??) and can’t really see a down side providing TH realizes that RvP is now King of the Em and plays the game…
Good post ‘holic
I honestly don’t know if signing Henry is the right move, surely he doesn’t have the legs anymore?
But, he loves the club so I’m sure he would give a 100% if we sign him
GT – My thoughts on Poldi are expressed all over this bar… I won’t repeat them…
I’ll wait with that for the opening of the window π
@ Holic: lovely article again today, agree 100% Sir! Glad too that you spoke up on the EPL/BPL issue! Its been pissing me off for a while..Thanks.
Now my other issue is what we call our stadium! I don’t mind Emirates Stadium at all. But I hate names like “the Grove” and “Ashburton Grove” for me it would be like calling Highbury “Avenell Road” or “the Road”…Besides Ashburton Grove is what we use to call the garbage truck depot back in the day…we took our old Christmas Trees down there to dump – So here is my 2-Cents worth: As a Holloway Boy we used to regard anything below Jones Bros as Highbury so why don’t we start something radical and start calling the new Stadium Highbury!! After all the new stadium has as much right to called Highbury as the old. And certainly we will not be confusing anybody as that other place is now a block of flats…and anybody showing up there to watch a game of footie does not deserve to enter our stadium anyway..
With that he put on his coat and heads out into the night…Good night barman..
I like to call it the grove rather than the emirates
..and Highbury is Highbury
Trev @ 115, I know you would trade places with your liitle angel in a heart beat, if you could. But the little ones always bounce back the quickest. And she’s got her daddy, the best medicine of all. Take care.
Morning All,
‘Holic – You speak for me when it comes to Titi. In a different role, with a gently strengthened squad it could be a really great two month cameo that will be enjoyed by player and supporters alike.
Dr.C – Great point re: the chance for Titi to bang one in against the LWCs before exiting stage left to tumultuous applause. That would indeed be a fairy-tale ending of poetic proportions.
Clive – Magnificent post @ #37. Really enjoyed reading it. Loved the ‘next 5 games test’, I’ll admit to only getting 4 out of 5 and I’m going to 3 of them! Glad you’re now feeling uplifted.
zico, tabs & Lars – Sage and amusing words as usual. Not worried about dressing room atmos as TH has already been hanging out for a while. More concerned about the over expectation that will be heaped on a great player in the twilight of his career. Either way, let’s acknowledge it’s a great PR coup too.
Trev – Hope your daughter is now recovering. Doesn’t sound like much of a holiday so far π
Snir – Thanks for links, etc. Top work.
Snowy – Good to see you back in here, excellent point re: Drogba.
Drinks all round please Mr. Barman and Edwin advises that the CMC is open, fully stocked and will remain so all the way through new year’s eve π
Morning TS
Trust you survived the Christmas celebrations with the family.
With 5 gr/children under 10,all up at the crack of dawn on christmas morn, and running around all day like demented roadrunners,i was decidedly weary come closing time.!!
Re my post at 37,
Even Mr subway the Groom, couldn’t resist coming over to put his 2 bobs worth in,and to offer moral support to the lone Hammers supporter on the table.
The Bride had to come over and remind him that it was their wedding day,not a trip down memory lane for old bow legged, bald,
ex footballers.!!
It was such a fantastic afternoon of football memories, that everyone thoroughly enjoyed, that it looks as if there will be a rematch at Easter, when the daughter of one of the fellas on our table is getting married.
Of course the PL table could be totally diff come April,so i am sure it will be on for young and old again.
Thnks to all those who commmented on the post,it truly was a memorable afternoon.
Cheers
The Sweeper.
All the best for Miss Trev
As you know, have been there myself recently, and can testify to Nurse ABB’s view that they bounce back pretty damned quickly!
As ever, life reminds us that there are a few things more important than footy. Not too many, mind….
Wow, what a night.
Beer and a bevvy of beauties. Swedish, you say?
Now, anyone seen Feelgood?
AW just said in his presser that TH will certainly happen.
Zico – you can call me “prophet Snir” since like Catalan said, I started the rumor π
If Poldi signs, I think I should have a bust where Tabs bust should have been (Sorry Tabs, no Kaka :\ ! )
Best wishes with regard to Ms T, Trev
AW: “When Robin and Thierry play together we will do very well.”
Oh my… Can’t stop thinking about it π
AW: “We are not looking for permanent players unless we lose players, as we have a big squad.”
Now that is ALARMING.
But then again, he will never say he’s interested in anyone to keep the prices low.
He knows what he’s doing… Still confident he’ll bring in someone apart from TH.
I assume he said in order to make sure clubs think we have no “immediate need” of a striker, therefore keeping the prices low/the same and not higher than usual.
In addition, doesn’t wanna repeat Mata et al case.
Trev, fingers crossed that the meds will do the trick for the little Miss T.
So, Henry all but confirmed. And yes, Snir, maybe we shall henceforth call you Claire Voyant π
Snir@146: I think it may very well just be tactics on his part. I mean, up until just a day or two ago he said that he had not thought too much about Henry when negotiations with the Red Bulls and Henry himself must clearly have already been well underway.
Lars/Snir
Best to judge Arsene Wenger on what he does, rather than what he says.
Yogi doesn’t think anyone else will be signed though so interesting to see what Ging Gang Google thinks of that π
http://aculturedleftfoot.wordpress.com/
(I am assuming you don’t mind the link, Holic).
Yes, that’s what I think as well…
I’m trying to calm everybody down on Twitter π
(Who woulda thunk it eh π !!?!? )
Zico – He didn’t really explain why he thinks like that.
I still believe we will get another striker, mostly because AW will want to show ambition to RvP and wouldn’t wanna wait to the summer in order to avoid a repeat of this summer.
A long summer where we do our business late.
Poldi π³
TH will be able to play 6 Premier League matches, 1 CL match and the 3rd, 4th and 5th FA Cup (should we qualify) matches.
Of the 6 mathches – The home matches are United, Blackburn, and Spurs. The away matches are Swansea, Bolton, and Sunderland.
A fuller transcript of AW’s confirmation:
βFor two months it certainly will happen. I donβt take care of the agreement and the insurance and that is not completed.
βIt was my idea. He was happy about it, but it was my idea,β Wenger explained.
βWe are doing it because Gervinho and Chamakh go to the African Nations Cup and to cover for two-months is ideal.
βHe is still class and has quality. He still has pace. It can only be positive, because he has exceptional talent.
βHe is experienced, he is quality, and can help the players on and off the pitch.
βThe deal is not completed, and at the moment we canβt announce anything. It is about insurance and I donβt take care of that but we have to respect all the agreements we need to find with MLS.
βBut it shows that Arsenal is always special to players, such as Sol Campbell, Jens Lehmann and now Thierry.β
Confirming that he needs a good 10 days preparation:
βI think he needs two good weeks work, he is here to help out no one expects him to be what he was 10 years ago. Thereβs no special pressure,β he said.
βWe are concious that he is 34-years-old and he will be just enough for us. He is here to help, when we need him he will play.β
So there you have it guys. The prodigal son returns! π
Yep – I agree with pt GGG – the main concern is not only to compete for the top 4 place this year, but to show RVP our ambition NOW.
That means a significant signing to show intent. If not, it could be a messy summer……
Two good weeks work? Surely, he must be ready to be a sub v Leeds?
Catalan,
It’s one thing saying we need to make a statement of intent, it’s another being able to get players of the quality required in January to demonstrate that intent.
I would love us to sign Podolski, (and another left back for that matter because I have a suspicion Gibbs is going to be another Diaby) – but I am setting myself up to avoid another transfer window disappointment.
Otherwise, you may as well dig out the clamps and the bat…… π
Zico – If you agree that Poldi is of the quality required then it shouldn’t be that problematic.
His contract ends in 18 months and he would surely be willing to join a top European team…
15-20 million should do it. Not a lot of money nowadays and certainly not a lot of money for our current financial state.
Except we may not be the only team with a chequebook, Snir π
And as for the Henry deal and insurance and all that.
Andrew Allen (the guy who uploads Arseblog news) mentioned something very interesting that most of us have forgotten.
Gazidis worked for the MLS and dealt with MLS contracts so it should be a piece of cake for him.
Zico – True, but he won’t move around Germany (he said so himself that were he to move it’d be abroad only).
Outside of Germany, we are the only club who has targeted him.
He wouldn’t leave Koln for any club and I don’t see him leaving for France or anything like that, only to top 4 Italian, Spanish and English clubs.
Out of those 12 clubs, we are the only club interested in him.
Plus, BFG has already started talking to him, it has to come from somewhere haha π
How do you know we are the only club interested in him, Snir?
Oh I forgot, your day job, crystal ball and all that….. silly me.
I hope you’re right, mate. π
I do my best and that’s what I gathered π
2 weeks til Henry’s ready?
Has he been pairing up in training with Arshavin? π
Plus, AW was looking to the left when he said we’re not looking for permanent players.
That has to be a lie then lol π
Snir: He was probably looking at Chamack off screen, enough to make you question your own judgement (even if he cost nothing!) π
Snir @ 123, 3 in 3 it is then Master Snir of the ‘Link’ π
‘Plays The Legend of Zelda Music in the background’
GT @ 134, some people don’t like Stadiums to be commercialised, so they call it the Grove or etc, maybe its because of a lack of understanding about the intricate relationship between a club and its sponsor, but I call it the Emirates/Ems just because they are also on our Arsenal Shirts currently. What I don’t like is someone on a Β£50 Armoury Stone referring to it as the Emirates, that stone will be there long before we get a different stadium, and sadly we haven’t made any history that I’d consider worthy of mentioning our stadium as the Emirates on a stone that will still be there long before the stadium’s name is changed, it will just be a bit confusing to some newer fans.
Clive @ 37, I was quite distraught that I could only remember 4 out of 5, Swansea away just slipped under the radar… π
Gotta do better next time.
Looking forward to hearing ‘Holic Teacher-esque voice again on today’s Arsecast π
Need to download that onto the Blackberry if its out before I leave for the library.
One more thing. I have a sneaking fear… that the club are tracking none other than Alexandre Pato for a move towards the end of the window for about Β£17 million from AC Milan…
What throws me off immediately is that he’s cup-tied, but the similarities between this and the Gervinho situation aren’t as rife as with Podolski, but the undertones are there.
I’d like to pitch this one to Snir, the general transfer expert and to Nurse abb, the general Pato expert.
Immediate Thoughts on this potential (highly improbable) transfer please.
Zico
I meant that (intent) was what we should be looking to do.
Fully recognise that it’s a little more complicated than that! Just hope that we are trying (and letting RVP know that we are trying!).
Wind.
Have a look @127.
Need a lift?
Catalan,
I agree that Arsene should be in RvP’s ear constantly, promising him the earth.
Whether he wants the moon and the rest of the planets could be the problem π
Bolton has agreed a fee for Gary Cahill to go to the bus stop, thought to be in the region of 5 Mil! heh π so how derisory was our offer then? π
Catalan & Zico –
We are in for a rocky ride with interests in RVP this summer if things do not become more comfortable for him here! How much more comfortable is another question. I just hope things are starting to ease down a little! π
Thierry Who??
I guess I could get pretty good odds against him scoring against all three of Milan, Tottenham and Man United. Certainly worth a punt since it’s not going to happen, right ‘holic??
The new boy in goal scoring action over there

Snir @ 169, to Ancelotti and PSG?
How can you be so sure?
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/training-pictures
The alphabet may have been sorted, but picture ’21 of 20′ tells me some work still needs be done on the maths at .con.
Wind, his agent said he was interested.
We’ll find out soon.
Not sure he’ll want to pass on the opportunity to play against the Mighty Arsenal this season though.
Heh, Ollie – I also noticed the “21 of 20” but you beat me to it π
Didn’t know Ancelotti spoke French, but he does his press conference in that just now.
http://www.francefootball.fr/#!/news/2011/12/30/124922_-aucune-negociation-pour-pato.html
No negociations actually.
Heh, and that was just the introduction, now Ancelotti answers in Italian.
Disclaimer: Drink #173 inspired by the numerology of the song posted by ‘holic @169, i.e.:
We were Two-Nil down at White Hart Lane
But then the man scored three
It was Thierry Henry …
But then again, good things do come in threes, and Thierry Henry is a good thing. Ergo …
‘PSG’ and ‘Tradition’ in the same sentence ? Does not compute.
The club was founded in 1970.
The Scene:
Dr Feelgood is walking along a deserted lane, hands in his pockets, and deep in thought. It’s nearly the end of the year and Roxette has been imploring him to make some New Year’s Resolutions. Feelgood is making the usual half-baked promises to himself, as he struggles with what passes for his conscience……,
I will stop drinking………..(Fizzy drinks….That’ll keep that cute dental hygienist happy….)
I will lose weight……. (Easy, solids are for softies……)
I will stop taking drugs…..(Lemsip, maybe…..)
I will do more around the house…… (She better re-build it first…….)
I will take Roxette out more……(reminds me, I need more paper bags…..)
I will walk the dog……. (reminds me, I need more paper bags…..)
I will remember “it’s only a game”……(Fuck that!….)
I will remember “her bum does NOT look big in this”….. (yes, that’s a good one…..)
I will turn to the Lord, JC…… (Jimmy Choo? Market cornered, no thanks….)
I will get my hair cut…… (Dream on, Delilah…..)
I will turn myself in…… (??????????)
I will stop calling Nasri a lesbian…….(Will ‘Butchie’ do?…..)
I will buy Lars a drink…… (Yes, I will buy Lars a drink.)
And on that note, Feelgood skips down the road, conscience clear, looking for his new friend Dr Disorder, who has already been compromised, after one short jaunt on the Happy Train……..
To be continued…….
Some reports say a deal’s been agreed, some say Galliani refutes the rumours, some say that Pato wants the move.
But your logic for him staying at AC Milanis quite resolute Ollie, who would past up the opportunity to play the Mighty Arsenal? I think even Wenger might have some trouble getting rid of Arshavin and the like because of the lure of potentially playing in the same team and game as Henry.
This week I am mostly watching reruns of Henry’s goals
Heh Geoff, not a bad way to work off Christmas leftovers…..
Dr F, the most probable out of all of those is you buying Lars a drink, but only when you’ve broken most of your other resolutions, I will stop taking drugs for example π
Lars buys the drinks, Wind
It’s the rules π
zico@183: Not THAT is a New Year’s Resolution I can agree with!
You know what resolutions are like Lars π
Zico always makes sense
And if Dr. F is gonna stop taking them does that mean he’s going to start paying for them instead? I’m only asking.
I do know that, zico, but that doesn’t change the fact that it would be a very good one anyway!
starts josling for position in a crowded box
Referee orders wall to move back a bit for the free kick.
Crowd is on their feet in anticipation
Classy PSG.
News channel saying that, for the first time in France, PSG made the media pay for showing the press conference live.
Said news channel stressing ‘PSG with their limitless funds’….
Not that said channel stuck to principles and said ‘no’ though, eh?
*referee blocks path of potential free-kick taker* π
holds arms out and shouts to the man in black “Ref, get ‘old off this idiot will yer”
goes for Rebound off the keeper
Goes for the top corner…
Deft chip
…AND IT’S IN FOR A HAT-TRICK OF DOUBLE CENTURIES!
Beautiful, Lars. That cobweb’s gone now!
Great goooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaal Lars, could be right in the mix re goal of the season – champers surely – on yourself of course!
I’m sure Wind appreciated it, even though he was seemingly playing golf in the background.
What, somehow the Swede with the bottomless wallet has put it in the top corner!! π
The crowd goes wild, Lars runs over to wind with a consoling pat on the back and a ‘you’ll probably get the next one mate ;)’
AL @ 191
Here’s the soap – now go wash out your mouth.
Paying…..pfft
Thank you Ollie, I feel that all my hard work has paid off. I lacked maybe a little bit the sharpness before but my mental strength helped me through it and now I am not drinking with a little bit the handbrake on anymore. I am almost like a new signing for the bar.
Oh – I thought he was stuck in a local eatery. Salt and vinegar sir?
Temperatures between 10 and 13Β°C tomorrow.
Must be one of the warmest Dec 31st in memory.
I think I’ve got a cold now though.
heh LarsΓ¨ne π
AL, I’ll gladly pay for the champers. Wind, don’t worry, you’ll soon start finding the net too!
All this century hunting……
I can remember when all this was fields π
Indeed Dr Z.
It wasn’t that long ago.
Ahh Ollie @ 205, I was just off the run of play lol, mis-timed my kick, its been happening a lot lately…
Like I said – Zico always makes sense
Yes, zico and Ollie, and we were all trying to find our way to Mornington Crescent but never did…
Heh Larsene
Right, off to the pub.
Every year, on the last day of work (usually 31st December) we go en masse to the boozer and prepare for the usual year-end carnage in Edinburgh.
Because the last day of work this year is on 30th I thought this tradition could die a death. Not a bit of it.
Off to fight the Guinness cordon – back later for the preview and to talk more sense. (Hah!).
So long Arse dudes!
Have a great night out, zico!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/football/16366160.stm
Good riddance as well.
painting ye grande olde grey granite city red and white Dr. Z – have a good’un
oops, pardon Dr. Z you’re old reekie i realize. still it’s granite (i think) and grand and grey – so splash o’ red and white for a night (and i don’t mean regurgitated Campari and sodas) would look alright for a night – no?
Ured and Whites!
Living just 25 miles from Red Bull Arena, I can tell you that Henry doesn’t have the same speed, but he still does all the tricks and can still drill the ball and give goalkeepers whiplash. He’s not THE answer, the way he once was, but he can be AN answer.
Keep in mind, Marouane Chamakh was a “goalscorer from a major European League.”
The Goonerholic Fantasy League Cup Preliminary Rd Fixtures are now up in the Goonerholic Fantasy Premier League forum.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-leagues/242956/forum/
That was a lot of bloody typing, and the first round proper will be even bigger. I have earned a drink.
Management, bring me my Guinness!
I need two people to give me a number between 1 and 17 please.
Different numbers please, but just two.
Thanks.
Lars – timing of TH12, great goal, very consistent.
Lars @208 – “mental strength” = “mental strenks”, surely ? π
abb@137, Catalan @140 – very kind thoughts, thanks to both of you.
And to you too Geoff.
Currently coping with vomitting reaction to the antibiotics – oh, such fun!
2011 can eff off just as soon as it likes, methinks π
zico – @various, please report to The Quackery asap for your repeat prescription of Positive Pills.
I just saw Mr C there, and he has a pill for everything.
His new supply of contraceptive pills are excellent if you manage to give Roxette the slip and sneak off with the blond pony tail.
They’re quite large – simply place one in your right shoe and it makes you limp. . . . .
Coat please . . π
Groan π
How is Miss T, Trev?
Everybody else, two numbers between 1 and 17 please.
zico – like the New Year Res’s
‘Holic – 8
Holic – 12
4
Too late.
Strange though, all 3 suggestions are multiples of 4.
‘Holic – not great mate, thanks, but we’ll get there.
Catalan – hope your’s are all now 100% btw.
heh, I’ve been drawn against Andy Goram.
Ah no, Andy Gorman, bah.
Trev, is she at least starting to get better?
8 v 12 it is.
Happy Train Qualifying Round is H2HFC v FC Polonia Bytom
Thanks all, although H2H and Arthur may come gunning for you π
Right, back to the important stuff.
What Lars asked at 235.
Oh, one last Fantasy League notice.
Closing time for gameweek 19 is 19.30 GMT THIS EVENING because of tonights game between Newcastle and the RedScuntRacists.
Not yet, unfortunately, . . . could be back to Exeter tomorrow, but fingers crossed. Thanks fellas.
Off for a while now – some “tending” to do.
Btw, sorry H2H . .
Re: Lars @208: A little bit of comic genius. π
Evening all.
Been absolutly swamped lately, got about a million drinks to catch up on, which due to time constrictions I’m afraid will be very difficult.
So please forgive me if I repeat what’s already been said.
I too have mixed feelings about the, according to some sources immenent, return of Sir Thierry of Henry. I hope that some don’t expect too much of him.
I’ve seen him on the box in a couple of games from the MLS, he didn’t look as fast as I remember and the quality of the league is not the same as the PL, yet he still made quite a telling contribution and is still in all departments a class act. To have him on the bench to bring on in the final third of the game would be briliant, but I don’t think we can count on him for too much more then that.
Even if he does come it will only be for a short period of time, we will still need long term back up for RvP, so this whole episode is a thin piece of paper hung over a rather large crack.
A round for all those in the bar.
Sorry for what Trev, mate?
Sorry to hear that, Trev. Fingers firmly crossed here.
Happy to see that a few of you appreciated my little attempt at humour@208 π
Oh, now I see. You picked my number.
No worries mate and good luck Athur, although I’m sure you won’t need it up against my bunch of no hopers. π
Evening All ,
First things first , I hope your daughter is on the mend very soon Trev , Best wishes from this corner of N London .
So it does indeed look like Sir Terrence is on his way back to his spiritual home . Can’t deny that a little frisson of excitement at the thought of him lining up again in the famed red and white has passed through me on more than one occasion today , nor can I deny immediately taking in the regulation Arsenal porn of his 226 in 14 mins in anticipation .
I would like to join Holic and others in stating that I hope expectations are kept to a reasonable level . It is not the same player who is returning and that should always be borne in mind . Trouble is , after watching those 226 goals again , even the most level-headed of fans can’t help but get more than a little excited .
His legacy is such that even 7 poor goalless games would not tarnish it , so I shall be very much of the mode that anything more than stop-gap average will be a bonus . If he scores , what a moment that would be . If he scores against The Mancs , Spuds or AC , then I’ll need tranquilisers for a week .
It is to be hoped that his temporary addition to the squad is not used to mask the deficiencies we have up front , and that real efforts are made to find more longer term cover/competition for RVP .
And yes , should things not go to plan , and Le Grovists et al start giving him stick , Holic won’t be the only one looking to “hang one on their beak” . π @Arsecast
Hurray – I’ve avoided the Qualifying round , and cheers for the tip re the deadline for tomorrows teams Holic – off to do that now .
After a quick skim of the drinks, I’d like to wish all the best to those not finding themselves (or loved ones) in the best of health a speedy recovery.
Zico@186: got the ‘kids’ round this xmas so no left overs at all, not even crumbs, Christ these boys can eat!
Re: Thierry; from reading the ‘drinks’ I thinks it’s fair to say it all comes down to expectation and as my old uncle used to say ‘don’t expect and you won’t be dissapointed’. His return is nostalgic, romantic and yes, a little exciting but I for one won’t be dissapointed whatever the outcome, welcome home Thierry.
Well said Geoff , and Evening H2H .
Drinks gentlemen ?
‘Holic, your ‘hooded little scroat’ bit on the Arsecast has left me with a plastered on grin across my face, very nice π
Yes please tabs, I got time for a quick one (or three) before I climb once again behind the bar.
Cheers Tabs, I could murder a fosters right now!
Drinks on the Bar , Chaps , and one for you too Wind .
Geoff , liked the crack about “This week I shall mostly be watching …” π
Have a great evening gents, I’ll be looking out for the preview.
But for now, once again to the bar dear friends……………
Me too H2H , cept I’ll be on t’other side of bar . π
Have a good one Chaps .
Preview time >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yes Pato is unlikely of course. But its the time of addition we need. Someone with the versatility to play wing or led the line
Who is this ref? He is a total cunt.
