Close the door behind you.

Love the checklist… love the bad karma that follows these morons.
Pulis.
And a second time for Walrus Allardyce.
Cheers holic!
Tango, Tango, Where’s yer job?
Tango, Tango Where’s yer job?
😀
Heh, what a stupid tango cunt.
I like the sound of vaardo’s additions.
Celebratory Laphroaig please.
glad this moron got fired. good riddance orange bastard!
Hey, he can spend all day on the sunbed now.
It’ll have to be a vodka and orange.
If there is a God it will surely be Fat Sam “the walrus” Allardyce. I like to think of him and Martin Jol basking on a rock somewhere eating herring.
vaardo knows!
Arsene strikes again.
Just saw this in the comments section under Today in Sport in The Guardian:
“Seems like the shit has hit the tan up in Hull….”
Bloody brilliantly put 🙂
what ca n you say after this dick said about cese ,fuck off you cunt
Pint please ‘holic
Wow! So much hatred gents. The sheer unfiltered bile. The invective. The crude industrial language. Are we not made of better stuff? Where is your compassion? Where is the milk of human kindness?
Aww.. Fuckit! The mans a cunt and I can imagine Arsene dancing a little Irish French combo jigg with Pat Rice to “I’m still standing”. Heh!
Vaardo
Don’t forget mr twitchyface as well although mr customs and mr excise might get him first allegedly!!!
Well, I think Song is awesome !
…and quite right you are too, Allan 😉
Good stuff ‘holic.
Been talking to the ticket office at the Grove today. They say before the West Ham game on Saturday the players will wear orange armbands and there will be a minute’s laughter as a mark of respect.
Revised Checklist
Pardew
Jol
Mourinho
Scolari
Allardyce
Hughes
Brown
Cracking ‘holic. Great stuff.
With love from Cesc and the rest:
Ptui!!!
Don’t mess with Wenger unless you are Alex Ferguson!
Fellas just look at the list:
Pardew – Gone!
Jol – Gone!
Mourinho – Gone
Allardyce – has since stopped picking stupid fights with Wenger, his attention has now switched to Benitez.
Hughes – Gone
Brown – Gone
Incredible!
He is the force that is Wenger. Nice list alabica.
Holic
Liverpool 3 up against Pompey at half time.
Let’s hope they get 6 and boost their confidence ahead of the big game away at Utd on Sunday.
We all know the form book goes out the window in those games, but the more confidence Liverpool have going into it the better from our point of view.
With Chelsea away to Blackburn this w/end in another tough fixture, there is the potential for dropped points.
As it stands our destiny is not in our own hands YET!!,but anything is possible in this topsy turvy season.
Also if the Spuds reach the FA cup semifinal, our game at the Lane will have to be rescheduled.
What price that game ending up the Title decider again.!!
Penultimate game it will be, Clive. Keep everything crossed 😉
So long Brown you utter cunt!
Don’t bother coming back you northern tit!
Where is Adebayor? I heard he wants to move again!
Haha. Cheers, holic.
Love the article holic.
A cherry coke for me please
Fuck off Phil Brown u smug orange cunt!
I am disappointed that he has gone. I always loved listening to his total bollocks. His comments after his sacking were also refreshing. It is the first time I have read anything of his where he actually does not blame someone else for it all going wrong. Normally it is someone else’s fault. I just hope that he does not pitch up as a so called pundit on one of the footie shows.
Do you think Hull will let him keep that ear piece as a leaving present?
Next up? Pulis. Though Fergie wouldn’t be bad
Excellent find `Holic and good checklist too…
Hope your management is doing better.
@Clive Waterman,[ Gooner since 54 ]: Sport on. And let’s hope a victory against Lille will boost them even further.
2008 we shot him to fame
2010……..we shot him to shame
its hilarious Brownie’s last game was agaist Arsenal! it would have been even more hilarious had it been cesc rather than Nick B who scored that goal!
Join the crusade! Bloggers and blogreaders out to stop the anti-Arsenal conspiracy by referees and opposition managers. OK it may not be the best time right now since we just lost Brownie who was one of the key figures in the conspiracy but what the hell!
But we havent beaten Chelsea while they were under Mourinho – did we?
C u later you tango moron. Go and fucking iron your stupid fucking ORANGE (wtf) tie…… You now have plenty of time, ha ha ha ha ..
Sajit, would you do everybody a favour and fuck off to Le Grove where miserable, pessimistic bastards like you belong. Every time you type something on any of the decent sites it is doom, doom, doom. Is the Uzbek cunt paying you enough?
‘Holic, we admire your restraint in not banning people and encouraging debate, but this cunt doesn’t debate. He doesn’t do anything but moan like my ten year old daughter. In fact, even she doesn’t do it all of the time like him. Chop, chop, please.
Easy, old. You know I’m not one for personal abuse.
Although Sajit, in your case you do kind of bring it on yourself. What don’t you understand about a list of managers who have crossed swords with le Boss, and been sacked?
Please think before typing drivel in future. Thank you.
From wiki…..

Funny I was asked just this weekend who I disliked most in the league as a manager and I chose Pulis. My reasoning was Phil Brown knows it’s just a big act – while Pulis thinks he’s a genius.
Tony next then…..
Of course, his position had become utterly UNTANABLE!
Good one G, apparently he has also oranged a holiday for himself.
Gardening leave ? Isn’t that TAN-tamount to being told to fuck right off?????
It cer-tan-ly is 😉
Long Time reader ‘holic first time poster …..think i’ll ask barman for black and TAN….guinness and cider mixeD
Ah, in my day den that was a Guinness and bitter. Very nice too with the right beer. I’m afraid the fruit juice in the stout wouldn’t do for me 😉
next season “PULLIS” PLEASE HE’S GAGGING FOR IT!!
Gin and tonic please holic! So old carrot face is gone? Maybe he can start a career selling spray on tan here in the States. Please let it be one of those 3am infomercials.
But really though, long way to go still. Let’s get behind the guys and cheer them on for the rest of the season. Oh, anyone catch Collymores comments about our Great Dane? Funny I thought he just quoted from a three year old Wenger press conference. Can’t we all just realize that Arsene knows quality footballers?
Off the topic lads but it looks like Steven Gerrard might get a threem match ban for doing this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtksxQSNmYU
got his wish huh 🙂
heh heh hehe
There should be a longer penalty than a 3 match ban for Gerrard’s elbow. He is the embodiment of petulance. After his teammate Aquilani scored a goal yesterday he looks so happy he might croak:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8558492.stm
behind the 8 ball but not nasri
As much as I believe this thuggish behavour should be stamped out I still want him to play against united on the weekend 😉
go collect the pounds, holic
sizing europe home and hosed in first place 🙂
oldgooner, this isn’t exactly the most debatable topic is it? And holic, I just felt putting Mourinho in that list sort of didnt make sense because he is the one guy Wenger never managed to beat.
Arthur the Gooner,
Point taken, so:
The appropriate sanction against Gerrard:
His suspension to begin the game after he scores 3 goals against United.
Anything else I can help with?
Ugh… enough with the bad puns already. I, for one, am a bit sad to see Phil Brown’s tanure come to an end. He was an endless source of insanity and fun and I quite enjoyed watching him fail.
I just wonder which lower league side will pick him up in hopes that he can bring their team up to the Premiership. Tanmere? Brightan? Leytan Orient? The options for such a man are endless.
Sanjit, for me the point is- Morinho came to the Premiership to dominate the world, and while he enjoyed great success, he came nothing close to what Wenger has accomplished. The season he was fired Chelsea looked crap and falling apart- his petulance and evil welled out of him more and more until he practically quit to go run off to Italy, looking for some other sandbox to try and bully. Plus, though Wenger didn’t ‘beat’ him- no question there- we did run them ragged several times. Remember Essien’s brilliant last second goal? Once in a lifetime shot, other than that Chelsea were battered all day. Wenger has stood every test of time and continues to succeed and challenge football everywhere to grow beyond where it is. Morinho is a astute strategist who’d rather be a thug and box kids ears then stand up and be a man. He belongs on the list of those who can fuck off. My two cents.
On a sidenote, Pires is king, you must be atleast the 10th person who has misspelled Sajit as Sanjit. I wonder why.
Sajit – José certainly has/had a problem with Wenger.
Just read all the quotes he came out with about both club and manager.
You only do that when you are rattled.
btw – all this nonesene about spoiling a pint of Genius with blackcurrant cordial is pure madness.
akin to wearing 4 condoms whilst trying to enjoy.. extra curricular activites.
I can’t get tired of these Brown puns, loved this one: “Of course, his position had become utterly UNTANABLE!”
No sympathy for this cretin at all — any manager who publicly insults our club (“that’s the sort of club they are” or something similar) deserves all the abuse he gets from gooners, FOR LIFE. Don’t forgive, never will. Not even Ferguson or Mourinho did that.
Great list of Wenger’s victims! I just hope Mourinho stays on it because he keeps making noises about coming back to England. I’d hate to see that because I can’t stand the way the English media and so many others in this country totally fall for his cheap macho posing in front of the cameras. It’s telling that in Italy he doesn’t get the same fawning worship that he does in the English media, they see right thru him, which is why he can’t stand the Italian media. He loves England because he gets all that worship. The Italians don’t find him funny a tall. The Americans have the same English disease, they fall for that supermacho pose and ridicule Wenger for being “professorial”, etc. I know the South American football media doesn’t fall for Mourinho’s antics in front of the camera either. Maybe it’s an anglo v. latin sensibility, with the Latins just not buying into Mouriniho’s routine.
Im just over the moon that the prick has finally been dismissed although it’s always good to have someone to laugh at – let’s face it, it’s clearly obvious that he was the sprawn of big fat wanky Sam. That’s what’s makes it’s so satisfying. I bet the first person to call him to offer sympathy was that fat wanker. Oh well another manager bites the dust while Wegner keeps provining everyone wrong!
By the way great comments from pires is king
Oompa-Lumpa-Doo-Piddy-Doo
Phil Brown’s a cunt and he got the sack too!
Good point Marcus, maybe it is because in Italy and South America the press actually want to talk about football and know far more about football than our lazy prick journos. It goes back to what Philip Auclair from France football was saying on the Arsecast the week before last.
I will have a tonic water. I am driving later.
What do you wonder, Sajit? 1 in 30 chance people spell my real name correct, if that, every day. I don’t really wonder why myself. Drink some warm milk and put yourself to bed my friend. Your getting cranky.
I guess I need to wonder why I try and discuss something respectfully with someone not interested in the same. (Sorry, ‘holic, if I’m off topic.)
lol, you can’t spell a 5 letter word correctly and you say Im cranky. Honestly, whats with all the hostility?
Because I pointed out that Wenger never got the better of Jose? I cannot believe I’m having to actually defend the arrogant bastard that is Jose, but you’ve got your facts wrong.
If you’re talking about the Essien goal at Stamford bridge – we were lucky to get away with a draw. The goal went in at the 84th minute and after that we were battered till the whistle. And in the other game ( the one we should really have won after they went a man down) Essien again scored – but that wasn’t a once in a life time shot – just some crap defending at the back.
The whole point is that – the 2006-07 match at Emirates was the closest Wenger ever came to beating Jose.
——-
In Wenger’s defence I can say that he faced Jose at the worst possible time.
Hey ‘hols a cold pint of Orangeboom for me and some of the lads above – it’s all getting a bit heated.
“Tango Tango See you around, Tango, See you around”
LOl PMSL couldn’t have happened to a nicer bloke lol
Chelski are one nil down 85th minute looks like they are out of the Champions League…
;):);):);)
Drogba has just seen his second yellow he’s off
Eto’o just scored, Drogba got redcarded and Chelski have less than 10 minutes to score 3 goals. To be honest Inter is playing in typical Mourinho style (soaking up the pressure and scoring one goal on the counter before putting everyone behind the ball) mixed with italian style (non-stop provocations time-wasting theatrics). It’s really hard to watch without wishing harm on the players and the manager.
Anyway as long as Chelski are properly demoralized in their upcoming games…
Don’t know for you Arthur but it’s been a long time I never wished so hard that both teams could lose!
Chelski are out of the Champions league
I think Chelski were dire in the first half, they didn’t match Inter in any way perhaps twards the end of first half, however saying that those Italians are experts at foulign in the box. Other Ref would give straight spot kicks.
Either way I didn’t wish this on them I believe the better attcking team on the night won the game.
I agree Matt it’s win win. Except Chelski gave less games…
Whoops – bloody predictive text. That should read ‘have’ not ‘gave’.
Just want to congratulate John terry on staying back to keep eto onside. well done jt – ur a star! Oops sorry i meant cunt!!!
Chelsea going out could be good or bad news for us – are they demoralised and therefore more prone to drop points or will they now have the focus on the league that allows them to go on a run?
I can’t quite make up my mind whether I am happy with this – I suppose it would have been better if they had stayed in and been distracted for a bit longer?
One thing I do know though, Kevnal is right – John Terry is a C***. Nice to see him taking defeat as gracefully as ever whining at the officials at the end.
As for the Geordie Satsuma, well, you know what I think of him……
Evenin’ Holic,
Any night Chel$ki go down in flames is a good night… even if I have to work late because I watched the game live instead of Tivo-ing it. Those Stampfording Bridge cretins will wear down and drop points in the run in. Come on you Gunners!
Chelsea losing out in the CL could do harm to their psychology. Those who argue it might help them in the EPL are ignoring that losing never helps a team’s confidence. Today’s story that Cashley is off to Real Madrid in the summer may have a ring of truth about it too. They may still be in the throes of the John Terry – Wayne Bridge affair. Not much positive news over there recently. The fans may start calling for a return of Mourinho before too long. Oh to be a gooner!
Early predo for this weekend: Arsenal 4 West Ham 2.
Let’s not go counting chickens… 8 Ball! 😉
Unfortunately It was actually alex who kept eto onside.. not JT. Although JT’s antics during the match and after with the officials were quite sickening… cunt. I have the feeling that if Chelsea went through to next round and had something else to focus on and more games to play and then a demoralizing loss would have been better for us. but Chelsea’s defense looked very open to Inter’s quick opposite corner balls from Sneijder letting Inter’s forwards run onto the ball behind Chelsea defense.. hopefully other teams spot this .
With the way Chelsea is looking now I’m starting to think they’re not the team to beat (don’t I sound like a pundit bashing the Arsenal now :)?).
Terry has been awful since the Bridge issue, I just hope they get their act together to scrape a draw at Old Trafford as well as Ade (Or Tevez – that’d be great too) scoring VS. UTD to give us the title ! ! !
This coming weekend might very well turn out to be very pivotal in deciding the title. We can put some real pressure on both Chelski and ManUre, “all” we have to do is stay focused and beat West Ham.
I’d actually go so far as to say that if Chelsea don’t beat Blackburn, they won’t win the league because that would be a massive psychological blow to them. In that case I really do believe that it is between us and ManUre.
Players being media coached by Wenger?
“Walcott: I am like Arsenal’s new signing”
Last night Chelski loosing is a dent to their confidence and piles up more pressure on top to win a trophy this season and for me it’s a good thing and something positive for us to gain momentum on them.
I was just reading 606 on BBC and jesus what the fuck is wrong with some people it’s just astonoshing.
Chelse are not the team to beat any more and I believe it’s just tactics that needed to be spot on. We still lack experience that’s definitely the issue when we play the top three top four whatever you want to call it.
I hear so much crap from sour loosers Chelski supporters that I would love to play Inter in the next round.
I think the title is going to end up being decided between arsenal and manu, assuming my gut feeling of chelsea not being able turn this defeat around in the league… if you look back at arsenals recovery from a bad result / situation they just come back stronger – i dont think chelsea have the mojo to do the same…
beginning to get that invincible feeling i would actually like manu to be drawn against us so we can put them to the sword and then beat Barca in the final after winning the league that would just p*ss soo many people off especially all those anti-arsenal dingbats in the media – an insane dream perhaps but the karma is definately starting to flow our way…
As for phil brown – good riddance, go get a real tan somewhere… maybe he needs a career in beach soccer and eric cantona can teach him flying karate kicks… hull fc might want a few aimed in his direction to dislodge that earpeice which he refuses to give back…
We can get Mourinho sacked if we had another 5-1 in San Siro. Their Serie A challenge seems to be coming apart, and if we thrashed them in the CL, that’ll probably be the last straw.
So how many managers have been sacked directly after playing Arsenal, there must be quite a few…
who can come up with a list?
Interesting to see how Chelsea are totally clueless and easily controlled when they can’t just rely on their power and physicality – against a team that has just as much physicality but also tactical discipline. Lucio had Drogba in his pocket, wish we had a defender like that.
Can’t stand Mourinho but there are several Inter players I like a LOT (the 4 Brazilians, Sneijder, Eto’o, Pandev) and wouldn’t mind having some of them at Arsenal. Also, it was Mourinho’s team last night that did most of the attacking and creating. Ironic, given Ancelotti’s and Mourinho’s reputations.
Ditto everyone’s comments about Terry – the guy just continues to prove what a total cretin he is. I think it’s naive to think Chelsea will just crack because of this loss – Wenger would be the first to say DON’T UNDERESTIMATE THEIR ABILITY TO COME BACK FROM THIS DISAPPOINTMENT TO WIN THE LEAGUE.
As for the CL, it’s truly HILARIOUS to see some totally delusional gooners talk about “thrashing” Inter. What a joke. I hope that we don’t get Inter because Wenger has been entirely incapable of beating Mourinho — Sajit is right about that. Even Ferguson’s only beaten him twice (only once in the league) while Mourinho has had both Ferguson’s and Wenger’s number for some years now. Not saying it’s impossible, I’ve been waiting a long time to see AW finally defeat Mourinho. I’d love to eat several tons of humble pie but I just don’t see it happening. Inter are a physically powerful, highly disciplined, highly cynical, tactical, ruthless team. Can’t see this Arsenal team countering any of that.
Wonderful to see the chavs out of the competition, even better than seeing RMadrid eliminated. Very interesting to see who’s left in the last 8 – only 2 English teams plus Russian, French, German and Italian teams. Bordeaux and Barca should go thru but who knows what Olympiacos and Stuttgart can do tonight?
In recognition of this St. Patrick’s Day and Chelsea’s unceremonious exit from the Champions League, this salute:
CHELSEA GO BLAH!!
@Marcus
You are 100% right ! When the power dosent work there is no plan B. Chelski were matched for power and came up wanting. They didnt have the skill to play around Inter so kept to what they know and we all know how that ended for them.
There are a number of players I like for Inter and Sneijder tops the list, he would fit into our style of play very well.
I’d agree on some points re: facing Inter. I’d rather it not happen next round but we have to be confident that we can beat them. Mourinho’s Chelsea came around at the time Arsenal were transitioning from Highbury to the Grove, a new team was in the process of being developed and with that a refinement of our style of play.
The Arsenal we’ve seen this season is not the Arsenal from Mourinho’s time in England. Maybe he can get the better of us, maybe not…we can’t say for sure. All we know is that our boys have been growing stronger every season and who knows what could happen.
I totally agree that people talking about “thrashing” Inter or seeing the match as a cakewalk are being a bit over-optimistic.
Champions League old friends day lineup:
Barcelona (Henry) vs. Stuttgart (Hleb). The game I’m watching.
Bordeaux (Chamakh – a “new” old friend) vs. Olympiacos (Gilberto, not actually in today’s team; is he injured?)
Marcus
Thrashing Inter is out of question as we haven’t really thrashed AC Milan last time around anyway. However saying that we are not capeable of beating them is just saying don’t bother we might as well not travel to San Siro because we will get spanked and that we have no qualities of our own what so ever, where is this so called “belief” Le Boss is always talking about? I have to disagree here if we have to play them at some point in this Cup then any time for me is good time. We have technical players too maybe not as phisical but they can certainly make their presence.
On a day we can beat anyone in the world and that certainly includes Inter as I believe we poses our own strengths and qualities and these imrove every season. We are a young squad but we are not scared of anyone and those are the words of TV not such a long time ago!
Keep the faith Gooners
behind the 8 ball but not nasri
What about Lehman?
Who could forget Jens? I realized my error! Now it’s halftime and Jens has stopped Henry but bobbled and gave up a corner, stopped Messi once and gave up an ustoppable and brilliant Messi screamer, and couldn’t do much to stop Pedro’s goal from a Yaya Toure cross after a brilliant Messi chipped ball behind the defence. Arsenal look like they will not get to face Jens in the next round. Arrivaderci Jens, or the equivalent in German.
You mean:
Aufedersein Lehman alles kla… 🙂
Chamakh just socred the winner for Bordeaux so it looks like them and Barca are in the pot.
Teams we could face:
Barca
Bordeaux
Inter
CSKA Moskva
Bayern Munich
Lyon
Man U
Who would you pick to play in the last eight?
The easy ones are bordeaux and CSKA Moskva while Lyon and Bayern are beatable . It is tricky if we get the other three . Imagine kicking barca’s ass though…….. 😀 😀
Either of the French teams will do me. I can see us dispacting them quite comforably. Let’s save the big boys for the last four where the stakes are higher.
At this point it’s anyone but Barca.
United is the next big one (if Rooney stays fit) but I think Arsenal on top of their game are better than United on top of their game.
The others are all winnable if we stay focused for 180 minutes but then it’s a football cup so everything can happen at this stage.
Marcus should watch more italian games, that would make him a bit less assertive in his praise for Inter who are only one point ahead of the geriatricos in what is now the weakest of the big european championships. The fact that everyone is praising Inter’s best game of the season so far is telling. And few mention that Chelski was playing without Essien and Cashley with Drogba in dipping form. Arsene and the players certainly should not quake in their boots if we draw Inter.
The best way to see it is that every team but Barca would rather avoid Arsenal and yes that includes United too.
Anyone but Man U.
Gilberto plays for Panathinaikos not Olympiacos.
Dreaming of agreat draw that would make us meet a top team only in the final and on any given day we can beat anybody.
Matt, agree about the exaggerated views on the Inter win. Chelsea were absolutely shit, and Ancelotti got their tactics so completely wrong you can hardly believe it. You would think that if anybody, an Italian manager should know better than to start a game against an Italian team in the slowest possible pace. Inter have a decent team, but there is no reason at all to think that we couldn’t beat them and as others have pointed out you shouldn’t read too much into Mourinhos unbeaten record against us either – because while he never lost against us with Chelsea he actually didn’t win too many games either. A few of them were draws and I don’t think any of the ones we lost were by more than one goal.
Matt, you assume too much. I watch Serie A every week and have watched Inter all season long. It’s you who doesn’t understand the realities of football.
The main reason I watch Inter is that there are several players in that squad I like watching. I totally disagree with the chauvinism in England that sneers at Serie A or any other league. To say that Serie A is inferior to the PL is simply wrong (in terms of the quality of football). Roma and Inter have eliminated Chelsea, Juventus have eliminated Fulham. Yes, in recent years Serie A haven’t done well in the CL as English teams have but that includes only the top 4 English teams. The fact is that the overwhelming majority of the PL is made up of really poor teams, whereas I’d rather watch mid-table or even lower table in Spain or Italy any day — despite all their failings. I can watch strong skill on the ball, professional and disciplined defenses that don’t rely on out of control challenges and intelligent play that slows down games to gain advantage.
And yes, Inter have hit a poor run of form recently, so what? They’re still at the top of the league. You make the same mistake so many pundits make of equating domestic performance with performance in the CL.
I also find it comical to read all these excuses about Chelsea — the same team that demolished us 4 times (twice at the Grove) recently. Oh, so Drogba was playing poorly? Didn’t he just score in a his recent matches? I love these double standards! So now Chelsea are a crap team because a Serie A team beat them?
Now that’s complete football ignorance and deserves zero respect.
Yes, Chelsea were poor v. Inter at the Bridge.
But I can GUARANTEE you that that same Chelsea would’ve won that match against Arsenal on Tuesday, no question.
Don’t underestimate Inter just because they were beaten by Catania last weekend. All the big teams suffer defeats every season, including from inferior teams. And btw, we too would’ve had a helluva time against Catania — they have a very disciplined, tight, committed defense fighting against relegation.
Underestimate Inter at your peril. And to come out with ridiculous excuses about Wenger’s inability to beat Mourinho — the stadium, transition, etc. Oh please, spare me the weak and hypocritical rationalizations and wake up to the real world.
Gooners routinely complain about excuses that pundits invent to dismiss our victories, gooners constantly complain about how pundits demonstrate their English chauvinism toward our players. And then turn around and do both these things when it suits them.
Oops, I meant to say Roma eliminated Liverpool.
