My Mobile Phone Network Has Crashed
May 10th, 2010 by 'holic
For some reason my daily text messages from Tottenham supporters have stopped getting through. I will investigate and report back later, ‘holics.
Anybody else have the same problem?

Good one ‘Holic
It will be interesting to watch the Academy League Final on Saturday, it will be screened live on ArsenalTV Online for anyone who is interested.
Barman a strong coffe for me please.
Sounds like someone may have poured water all over their suit, causing the mobile thingyies to fry.
Funny how those calls stop. Let’s see which dozen or so new signings we’re linked with tomorrow.
Thanks for the must read all season ‘Holic.
Barman – A pint of Guinness if you will.
@Arthur: Saturday? You might find yourself a bit late for the game if you tune in by then, because kick-off is at 2PM UK time tomorrow π
Sorry to seem a little contrary but I’ve never given a Sp*ds fan my phone number
Funny that..same happened on my network. All the spuds at work said they threw the game after they knew we were winning…that was nice of them.
Apologies then Lars I must have misread my source, thank you for pointing it out mate!

Spud sat right opposite as I post. Says they only wanted fourth anyway. Acknowledged that St Totteringham day came late this year. Enquired as to thier equivalent of St Totteringham day. No answer as yet.
No Holic, it’s not your network it’s theirs (the Fourth dimension network) seems they have critical downtime the same Sunday each year, to coincide with St Totteringham day it makes sense I suppose it is has been their quietest period after all for the last 30 years!!!
Not heard from any of them after they went 1 up at Burnley. They seem to have vanished.
Just waiting to collect my winnings from them all. Will they ever learn?????? This time next year etc etc.
Fellow Spud at work:
” They must have saw the Arsenal result at half time and stopped playing ”
All of them have the same excuse how bizzare!
The infantile jokes about the Spuds are really getting boring, enough already.!!
I prefer to doff the cap to Carlo Ancelotti,a great first season in charge, and one game away from joining the very small group of clubs to win the domestic double.
Statistics don’t lie, over 100 goals scored in the league, [ not bad for an Italian manager,!!, ] lost only 6 games, they and Utd are still the benchmark in the PL.
Injuries or no injuries,we still need a lot of improvement/signings to match those 2.
It’s going to be a very interesting off season for all Gooners hoping to see some quality signings for our great club.
On a final note, what a great season for the so called southern softies.
Chelsea win the league, the Arse and the Spuds 3rd and 4th,Fulham in the Europa cup final, and Chelsea and Pompey contesting the FA cup final.
Clive Waterman,
Scadenfreude at Spuds innate stupidity “getting boring”?
Are you lost?
Sorry Clive but itβs a life choice for me, so no can do as long as Iβm living & breathing mate.
By the way it’s not US being infantile “COS THEY STARTED IT”……
Steve T – “will they ever learn”?
Hope not, its so much fun parting fools from their money π
Bring on next season – I predict a much earlier St Totteringham’s day.
You are of a higher calling than me Clive. You and my wife who thinks it is infantile of me to crow at Man U, Chelsea, Spuds misfortune – but I just can not help it. I know it is not healthy – blood pressure goes up, arguments start – lose frineds. Do I need help?
Morning Holic & Holic`s
Well I predicted the score right but not the scorers but 4-0 is 4-0 and who cares who scored. Nice to end the season with a comfortable win and with a fairly early goal it put the boys nerves at ease and just played them off the park.
The spuds fans are like cockroaches all running about thinking they are invincible ( I refer to the claim that they will survive a nuclear blast ) and then the light of reality is turned on and pooof they all scurry away til next season when they have a CL qualifier to be knocked out of.
KVC @ 17
Diff stokes for diff folks,
Having followed the Arse for 46 yrs,i like to give credit where it’s due.
Spuds were bottom when HR took over,so his achievment to get them into CL playoffs is a bloody miracle.
Whether they succeed or fail from here is not the point,it’s the getting there, and good luck to them.
Like all teams, including us,most supporters are genuine followers and love their team through thick and thin, and also like us,the other teams in the PL also have a mindless, moronic, minority following that bring the team into disrepute and besmirch our great club.
…a whole bottle of jw please barman and please wake me up august…
Clive fair doo’s HR has done a great job turning them around since he’s been there, but we all knew he is a class act & just needed that bigger budget club to really make his mark so it’s not exactly a surprise to me.
But as for your common or garden spud supporter that don’t wash with me, cos I know some intelligent successful worldly-wise spuds, but mention the north/north London divide to them & to a man their brains turn to mush & they are in La La land.
They just can’t help themselves.
@Clive: I don’t really think Redknapp has worked any miracles at all with Spurs, if anything they have been under-achieving for quite a number of seasons. Yes, they were bottom when he took over but they still had a very expensively assembled squad that was later added to in the form of Defoe, Palacios and Crouch for quite significant sums of money. It was only a matter of time before they would finally achieve some degree of decent results. They’ve outspent most other teams in the league for the past few years, but for some reason that is rarely mentioned in the media and I for one predicted them to be fighting for fourth and I’m sure I was not alone in that. And Redknapp being manager of the year? Not in my book, I’d say Alex McLeish, Roy Hodgson and perhaps even Mick McCarthy have done better than Redknapp on far tighter budgets and far more limited squads.
