Competition – Win An Art Of Football Tee

Nov 24th, 2017 by 'holic

It’s competition time again at Goonerholic thanks to our old friends at the Art of Football, who will help make one lucky Gooner’s week by sending them a superb teeshirt from their excellent range.

Check out the range at the Art of Football website where you will find details of all their offerings, including a number of recent additions. The teeshirts and sweatshirts come in a range of colours and sizes from small kids to XXL for those of us of a fuller figure! Art of Football only produce a limited number of each design, so your teeshirts, like any good piece of art, are exclusive and completely original.

You can also buy a number of prints or canvasses (print sizes A2, A3, and A4 available plus A2 and A3 canvas) which would make a welcome Christmas present for the Gooner in your life. Sting In The Tail is a wonderful record of Olivier Giroud’s scorpion kick goal for the Arsenal.

Sting in the tail

Now for the good news. Art of Football have offered a tee of your choice to one lucky Goonerholic reader. To enter the competition just answer this question.

89 Is the film record of our remarkable triumph at Anfield to lift the League title in that year. Who is depicted scoring the winner that night on another great Art of Football design?

Unbelievable

Please send your answers to competition@goonerholic.com along with a contact email and phone number plus your Twitter handle if you have one. The winner selected after the competition closes at 5.00pm UK time on Thursday 30th November, will receive the tee of their choice. There is no cash alternative.

That’s not all we have for you from the Art of Football. This weekend get a discount of 20% off everything you buy from the Art of Football website as part of their Black Friday promotion with the code BF20.

That’s it. Get your entries in (just one per person please), and good luck to you. Come back tomorrow for a preview of the Burnley match. Thank you.

    First in again it seems.
But i think i’ll leave the tee shirt
    for slimmer men than me.

    Finally watched the highlights
from last night. They were quite
short. Jack should of buried that
    header in the first half.
Agree with everyone who said it was
    a silly penalty.

  2. on 24 Nov 2017 at 8:18 am2OsakaMatt

Lucky I fell asleep waiting for the
    game to start last night.

  3. on 24 Nov 2017 at 8:19 am3OsakaMatt

Although luck had little to do with it.

  4. on 24 Nov 2017 at 8:22 am4TTG

Do they do a 4 XL?
Osaka Matt- that was one of the few Arsenal games I recall falling asleep watching but I think the bad dreams kept waking me up!

Holic, when 89 (the film) becomes available for digital download, could you please put a link for it in your sidebar so that people can purchase it “through you”?

I would like to watch the film, but have stopped buying DVDs for quite a while now!

  6. on 24 Nov 2017 at 8:51 am6OsakaMatt

    TTG,
Let’s hope the ref has a few bad
    dreams after that penalty 🙂

    Countryman,

Sorry to hear of your trouble. As a fellow sixty year old, also with a doddery Dad in his late eighties, I’ve a pretty good idea of what you are going through. I hope he realises how much you care.

On a brighter note, a spud aquaintance of mine, who has been unbearably smug and condescending, has not been spotted this week. What a truly unsporting bunch of cuntknuckles they are.

  8. on 24 Nov 2017 at 10:09 am8Goonerholic

Hello TERS, the digital version of 89 is available in the UK now, and from Jan 15th worldwide. I don’t have an associates deal with iTunes I’m afraid. Thank you for asking.

Goonerholic rate-of-posting is proving challenging to manage.

On the first, fine report on a far from fine game of football in Cologne. Only the second time I’ve seen them play since Dundee beat them 8-1 at Dens Park when they were Bundesliga champions. That was a much more entertaining evening. Elneny and Coquelin are both triers but aren’t at the level required for premier league leadership. Wilshere wasn’t either last night and I’m still to be convinced by Xhaka. Midfield is an area of the squad that badly needs strengthening. On a more positive note, I thought that Maitland-Niles and Nelson (albeit brief) had good games and show real promise for the future.

On the second, that’s a fine looking T-shirt but that question is way beyond my competence level. I haven’t done the knowledge.

Just caught up on life at the bar over the past 24 hours.

Sorry to hear about your father, Countryman. Good luck; I hope the outcome is what you and he would want.

Nice schmutter, H. Tough question for a stripling like BtM. He’ll need to dig out his Encyclopedia Brittanica.

  12. on 24 Nov 2017 at 4:09 pm12bt8

@11. They who cannot come up with the correct spelling of Britannica could well be the same ones who could most prosper from digging it out. 😉

Just to provide a small dose of pedantry.

Heh. For years I begged my parents for the EB but never got it. And where’s the bloody spillchucker when you knead it? Undereducated and abused.

    Messi has a buyout clause
    of 626million euros. Someone seems
a bit sensitive after Neymar left.

  44. on 25 Nov 2017 at 2:41 pm44OsakaMatt

    It’s damned quiet out there.

    Not holding out much hope
    for Brighton and West Brom
    today but you never know
maybe WBA will get a Pukisgone
bounce – it’d cheer me up if I
    was a West Brom player.
    Draw or heavy beating either
way is fine in the Chavvy game.

And then to Burnley, although in
fact I’ve never been there myself.

  45. on 25 Nov 2017 at 3:14 pm45OsakaMatt

spuds have had the decency to
    fall behind!

  47. on 25 Nov 2017 at 3:52 pm47OsakaMatt

spuds still spudding it up at half-time.
Kieran playing ok for West Brom.

  48. on 25 Nov 2017 at 4:02 pm48TTG

Not a good day for Spuds. Arsenal U18s beat their youth team 6- 0 today .

  49. on 25 Nov 2017 at 4:57 pm49OsakaMatt

1-1 at home to West Brom and
    Rondon should have scored in
    the last minute. The LWCs.

  50. on 25 Nov 2017 at 4:59 pm50OsakaMatt

    Sadly Manure spaked a 1-0
win so not all good news

Don’t know why Klopp persists with
    Sturridge – he’s very overrated
    to me.

Points to be gained boys, let’s do the business tomorrow. COYG!!!

  56. on 25 Nov 2017 at 7:24 pm56ksn

Great day for us as Spurs, Chelsea and Pool all drop points. I hope the boys are up for it tomorrow to take advantage.

  57. on 25 Nov 2017 at 7:30 pm57TTG

Chavs, Totts and The Mug- smashers all dropped two points. If we win tomorrow we have United next weekend and lots of winnable fixtures coming up. We could take a grip on third place . The key word is ‘if’ though

  58. on 25 Nov 2017 at 8:11 pm58Pangloss

Third, TTG? Do you expect the Tinies to get their act together as ¢iti and the Rowdies blow up while the Smashers and Chavs return to type? On the basis that It’s the Hope that Kills You, I’ve abandoned it all and buckled up to enjoy the ride.
